22nd ANNUAL  "Grow with the Pros" Saturday, March 7, 2020

Location:  MSU Management Education Center , 811 West Square Lake Road, Troy

Please join the Association of Professional Gardeners in welcoming warm weather at our 2020 Spring Kickoff. The Kickoff will feature breakfast, two expert garden speakers and time to network.  Registration is from 8:00-8:30a.m. and the program will begin at 8:30 a.m.  If you haven’t been to one of our educational events yet, now is your opportunity!  Registration is $45.00 for members and $55.00 for non-members.  Deadline to register is February 26, 2020.   

Janet Macunovich - Owner, Perennial Favorites   Is your garden looking tired and worn?  Is it time for a change or two or three?  Janet will lead us through the process of evaluating and deciding how and whether to partially or completely renovate an older garden.    

Elly Maxwell - Entomologist, Dow Gardens   Insects are adapted to survive, which means that sometimes we see numbers grow quickly!  Seemingly overnight a healthy plant can become defoliated.  Dealing with pest problems starts with education.  We'll look at common backyard Michigan insect pests, with an emphasis on invasive species, and learn to stay ahead of them.   ~
