8:00 p.m.   Fair Lane: Restoration and Recreation of a National Historic Landmark

Karen Marzonie, Director of Landscapes at Fair Lane, is a Michigan licensed Landscape Architect with extensive experience designing and directing landscape restoration projects. She has a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from The University of Michigan.

When Fair Lane was part of The University of Michigan-Dearborn, Karen was the landscape and grounds manager at the estate and organized the Spring Day programs that so many MGAWC members and others enjoyed between 2003 and 2010.

To encourage gardeners to sign up for an annual membership ($15 US a year, October 1-September 30), the board is testing a $5 guest fee for non-members attending individual MGAWC programs. The non-member guest fee does not apply to current U of M-Dearborn students.
