Although they are an important part of our landscape and our world, trees and other woody plants are often taken for granted.  Because they are often large, their size can be intimidating.  Join MSU Tollgate Farm Manager, Roy Prentice as he discusses aspects of trees and other woody plants and their care.  Roy will address identification, planting, pruning and other facets of woody plant culture.  Woodys have adapted to keep their heads above ground all winter long.  They deserve our attention and respect.
